Collecting Screenshots.
The Adam Usage Meter is developed in Java and should work under most environments with a valid Java Virtual Machine (JDK 1.3 or later).
To assist others we are looking for people to test the application in a non standard environment and to send us a screenshot.
We realise that people may not want to supply an image that has their personal information displayed, so we have build in a demo mode that will display general statistics.
To test this, download the jar file and configurate the application to read your statistics as per our standard usage instructions.
Once you have the application working, close the application and from the command prompt type
java -jar aum.jar --screenshot
This will start the application with general statistics shown instead of your personal information.
All you need to do is make a copy of the screen and email to us here
(Make sure you do NOT save configuration changes while operating in demonstration mode as you will find the system will no longer be able to retrieve your statistics the next time it is invoked). All you need do is close the application normal and then ensure you do not restart the application with the "--screenshot" parameter.
